Harris County Master Gardener Association

Membership

To be a member of the Harris County Master Gardener Association you must be a certified Texas Master Gardener. Master Gardeners are volunteers trained by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service to assist Extension in its work. In Harris County, AgriLife Extension trains Master Gardeners twice a year. Membership in the HCMGA includes membership in the Texas Master Gardener Association, a subscription to the monthlyUrban Dirt newsletter, the opportunity to hold an office in the association and voting rights.

Dues

Harris County Master Gardener membership dues are $12 per year. The Master Gardener fiscal year runs from July 1 to June 30. The deadline to submit dues and membership renewal forms is July 15th.
