Fall 2023 West Side sale catalog
The Harris County Master Gardener Association (HCMGA) holds several public plant sales throughout the year. The funds we raise are used to support Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in its educational mission to bring relevant, research-based information about horticulture to the public.
Our plant sales are special events. Master Gardeners are trained in horticulture best practices specifically for Houston. So, we pride ourselves in offering the best varieties of vegetables, herbs, bulbs, and ornamental plants for our area at our plant sales. We will also have gardening tools and other materials for sale. We have a free information booth at our sales with expert gardening advice, making this the perfect place to shop for beginner gardeners, and seasoned gardeners looking for successful transplants. Below is an outline of when, where and what is available at our annual sales. Come early for best selection as quantities are sometimes limited.

NW Harris County Sales
September 23rd, 9am-1pm at 3000 Bear Creek Dr, Houston
Vegetables, Herbs, Perennials, and Ornamentals will be sold from 4-inch pots to larger containers. Look forward to purchasing a variety of starts handpicked and cared for by expert Master Gardeners. Make sure to arrive early to browse our wide selection. Browse plants, Ask A Master Gardener all of your gardening and planting questions, and leave the sale knowing you bought plants that will be successful.
SE Harris County Sales
October 21st, 9am-1pm at 1210 Genoa Red Bluff Rd, Houston
Fall vegetables, herbs, and ornamentals grown from seed by expert Master Gardeners.
ONLINE SALE: You have the unique opportunity to browse the online plant store and purchase plants in advance of the SE sale. Place your order online October 1st-19th. You may pick up your purchase on October 21st, where we will have a large selection of plants for sale that day as well. Access our Online Plant Sale page here throughout the year.

The Harris County Master Gardener Association (HCMGA) holds several public plant sales throughout the year. The funds we raise are used to support Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in its educational mission to bring relevant, research-based information about horticulture to the public. Programs like Cylinder Gardening for kids, gardening projects like our Genoa Friendship Gardens, and all of the other listings under the Community Services tab above are made available to the residents of Harris County because of the proceeds from these sales.
